New President Wanted At DVF

Diane Von Furstenberg's longterm president, Paula Sutter, is leaving the company on December 31. She started working at brand in 1999, just after it ws revived in 1998, and  is widely credited for helping rebuild the label as an internationally renowned fashion name.
"Paula has played a key role in the second life of DVF," said Diane Von Furstenberg. "We have hhad a great ride together, and I am grateful for all that she has done to bring us to where we are today."

Von Furstenberg currently holds the title of founder and co-chairman -  the latter position is shared by former Tommy Hilfiger co-founfer Joel Horowitz, who was hired last year. A new President has not yet been named.

"I have great respect for Diane and the organisation we have built together," Sutter told WWD. "The company has grown tremendously over the last 14 years, and I am very proud of what we have accomplished during my time here."
