Apple has unveiled its Apple Watch in dramatic fashion (on two continents and with fashion's heavyweights in attendance), so now all eyes turn to who might be the face of it. Previous Apple campaigns for its iPods have featured the music stars of the day from Will.I.Am to U2 so it stands to reason that its first wearable product will enlist a fashion name. But is Liu Wen the chosen one?
The Chinese model shared a picture of herself trying on an Apple Watch accompanied by a leading caption, sparking whispers that she could be its first spokesmodel: "My second meeting with the Apple Watch, this time in Colette! The first time? Well, you'll see soon."
Liu is already a favourite of brands from Dolce & Gabbana and Hermès to Gucci and Chanel. In addition to being an Estee Lauder spokesmodel, she is also a Victoria's Secret catwalk model, and has previously modelled watches for Calvin Klein. She was joint third on Forbes Supermodel Rich List for 2014, but the Apple job would surely send her earnings soaring for the coming year.
