Mario Testino Receives Honorary OBE

Mario Testino has been awarded an honorary OBE. The Vogue photographer has regularty taken pictures of the royal family, including the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official engagement portraits, as well as famous shots of Diana Princess of Wales.

As with all honorary award recipients, who were born outside of the UK, Testino will no receive his award at Buckingham Palace by a member of the royal family  but by the High Commissioner of his country of birth, in his case Peru.

He is known for making his subjects look the most beautiful that they can. He has shot numerous Vogue covers, with subjects such as Natalia Vodianova, Naomi Campbell, Sienna Miller, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.
