As Penelope Cruz's new namesake bag arrives in Loewe stores, I went behind the scenes to see the collection's new creation in the Spanish-based workshop. See the gallery, here.
The collection - which comprises three sizes of the new Cruz bag in a variety of colours, as well as coin purses and large zip wallets - launches worldwide from today. Cruz, who created her first collection for the brand earlier this year, worked on the offering with her sister Monica - a relationship that both said made the design process much simpler.
"We usually like the same things," Penelope Cruz said. "Working with my sister is very easy," Mónica agreed. "It is such a special relationship, and we are so in sync that sometimes we can communicate with just a look."
It is not the sisters' first design venture, having previously created a capsule collection for Mango; a lingerie line for Agent Provocouter and handbags for Japanese label Samantha Thavasa.
