Marios Schwab is rumoured to be secretly working for Maison Martin Margiela. A spokesperson for the London-based designer declined to comment this morning.
Schwab has been spending time at the label's Paris headquarters, WWD reports, although nothing has been confirmed. The brand's collections are currently designed by an in-house team, with no named creative director, after its eponymous founder left in 2009.
A collaboration would not be too much of a surprise - Schwab's fluid shapes would lend themselves well to Margiela's signature androgynous aesthetic. Renzo Rosso, who owns Margiela, and Margiela CEO Giovanni Pungetti both attended Schwab's latest catwalk show in London.
