Roberto Cavalli Names New Design Director

Diane Von Furstenberg's former right-hand man, Yvan Misperlaere, has been named Roberto Cavalli's first ever design director. His first collection for the italian brand will be unveiled for autumn/winter 2014, WWD reports.

Mispelaere served as creative director at DVF for two-and-a-half years, before leaving the brand in september 2012. Prior to his role there, he worked at Gucci, and also at Chloe under Phoebe Philo, Valentino and Louis Feraud.
